I'm a managerial engineer, but I work since 1994 in ITC fields, because of my big passion for technologies and computer sciences. I really love to be always in step with the times in all field, first of all the technology. Since I was a child, I have been fascinated by computers so much that I started programming on legacy devices, such as Commodore 64 or Spectrum Sinclair. Even when I was a student, I started work in IT field, first as a tester and then as manager of multimedia applications testing sessions. As soon as I became an engineer, I found a job in a Web Company (Inferentia, now FullSix) and I always work as project manager, planning web projects elapsed times, efforts and costs and managing and coordinating development teams. In this role I managed a lot of very big and complex projects, for clients like Barilla or MPS Bank. As Project Manager, I worked in development of IT systems in various sectors: corporate, industrial, banking, government and so on, gaining an extensive experience and appreciating the best and the worst things of this kind of role. Some projects that I've recently accomplished are: • a web application for municipal administrations, to create manage and delivery legal acts • a web and a mobile application for Sapio (www.grupposapio.it) to manage and control the whole process of testing and regeneration of gas containers • a cross-platform mobile application for MPS group, that allows IB users to perform informative and dispositive banking operations on smartphone or tablet The most projects that I've managed was developed using open source platforms and frameworks, such as Liferay, Alfresco, Aperte WF, and so on.

My background has involved a diversity in of engineering projects, especially those in mechanical engineering field. Professionally, I enjoy working on challenging projects that push excellence to higher levels. Professional development is manifested by graduate level education and expanding skills and qualifications through experience and certification. My master's degree in Engineering Management will be completed from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) in December 2014. Please see the "Certifications" section to see my accomplishments. I am currently working as a Quality Manufacturing Engineer at Matech GSM. This role focuses on helping to scale up R&D operations into larger scale production through process mapping and applying the DMAIC tools of Six Sigma. I am also working on building a Quality Management System to allow for full insertion of Matech products into current prime contract programs. Previously, I worked as a Facility Engineer at Weber Metals. This role has a wide range of responsibilities such as minor building & grounds repairs, environmental compliance, managing contractors, and the planning/proposal/execution of major expense projects and capital acquisition projects. Examples of my major projects can be seen in the "Projects" section of this site. I have had two other full-time jobs since completing my bachelor’s degree. Prior to working at Weber Metals, I worked as a mechanical engineer and project manager at ASC Process Systems, designing and building industrial composite curing autoclaves and ovens. Work at Western Air Limbach incorporated a rotational training program known as Limbach Engineering Management Trainee (LEMT). The program began with work as an estimator, reviewing a wide variety of HVAC systems including drawings and specifications. The second phase of the program was working as a project engineer. Training in formal project management skills was the focus of this phase. Project management aspects included performing cost estimates (for change orders), RFI & submittal tracking, and other various project control tasks. I had two internships while attending USC. The first internship was working at Black & Veatch working as an engineering intern, supporting civil design engineers. The summer going into my senior year, I worked for LADWP as a student engineer working under the general construction portion of the electrical side, assisting in project management roles. Teaming up with my father and uncle, we have developed a concept for an automatic tire inflation system (ATIS). We had filed for the patent in October of 2010 and granted the patent in July 2013. My role was in the engineering of the system. I have also prepared the sales/martketing material (such as sales presentation and spearheading the sales video efforts) as we work towards licensing agreements.
