Last 20 years I have been programming various kinds of software applications: from simple DOS programs to enterprise-level multi-tier applications. Started with developing C/C++ scientific software, I have moved to business application development and for last 12 years I'm using .NET platform for this purpose. I am a results-oriented developer with extensive experience in C#/VB.NET, WPF, MVVM, WCF, MS SQL Server, Windows Forms, Silverlight. In my work I always use a modern software technology and try to create solutions with the best price/quality ratio. Coding is my passion, and it's just as much fun now as it was when I got my first program to compile...

Over the past 10 years I've developed software both professionally, and as a hobby. I enjoy working on more than just my daily grind, so I've come here for a little something extra. Do you have an interesting project? Read on, I may have the skills you need. Let's talk desktop/back-end development: C#, Ruby, Go, C, Objective-C, Powerbuilder, SQL (ANSI/MSSQL), Perl. Those aren't languages I've just spent a few hours on; I've shipped products or currently maintain projects in those languages. How about web development? I love writing responsive, cross-browser/cross-platform sites that work as well on the desktop as they do on your phone or tablet. It's a great challenge to stay ahead of the curve.
Hello I've started my IT career in far 1998. I started working as a software developer/sysadmin at local company, providing building services for government and individuals. There I had my first experience with databases (FoxPro), network and world of financial services software (warehouse, payroll, accounting, amortization). From 2003 to 2007 I worked at local bank branch as software developer. I've configured and deployed into production a number of financial software solutions (loans, accounting, end-of-day reports) and had a great experience in finding out how corporate software work. From 2007 to 2014, I had a role of senior software developer inside Online Backup Service project with rich Windows Desktop client and efficient Server-Side part. Developed UI (WinForms, WPF) and server (data storage, quick search and retrieval). Integrated existing applications with third-party company's APIs. Starting from 2014, I'm working at oDesk, trying to do my best to provide my customers with every bit of knowledge and experience I have. Now I'm studying MEAN technology stack, dreaming to take part in some really big data and high-load project. In my portfolio you can find some applications I've had the most impact on. I believe my strong points are analytical thinking and strategic vision. I constantly search for new ways to increase my productivity and knowledge base. I spend hours every week, watching training videos on various fields of computer science and economics (for my current pet-project). This way I'm somewhat compensating the lack of degree in Computer Science. My primary goal will always be to meet your needs and deadline. When working on a new project, I prefer to have clear understanding of customer's needs and vision of the project. I like to have a good picture of the project. And in case I see that something can be improved, I express it without hesitation. Thanks for your time and consideration. I look forward to working with you soon. Listed below are my experience and skills. — .NET Framework 2 - 4.5.1, WPF, WinForms, Universal apps for Windows Store; - Unit testing: NUnit, RhinoMocks; - Data: MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SQLite, XML, JSON; - IDE: VS2007-2013, Eclipse, WebStorm; - OS: Windows, Windows Phone; - VCS: Git, Mercurial, SVN; - Bug/Issue trackers: Jira, OnTime; - SQL, T-SQL; - UML, Modeling, Technical Writing.

About me in two words: software craftsman. I am always looking for new technologies and new solutions for a known problems. In fact I’ve first started use NoSql databases four years ago. I’ve started from ravendb, than become a huge fun of mongodb. I’ve tried redis, memchaed and read about cassandra and riak. Almost in same time me, and my collegues build our first CQRS based system. Year later we’ve started use CQRS combined with Event Sourcing and continue use it today. I don’t believe in golded grail. Everything changes and I enjoy keeping up to date with new technologies. Technology Radar by Thought Works helps in that a bit. Behind my main proficiency(.net) during last two years I’ve tried and learned node.js and Dropwizard java framework built by Coda Hale from Yammer. I also greatly improved my client side skills and built two single page applications. One is based on backbone (Theranest) and another one is based on angular (Hummingbird). I have one rule when starting new project: “Try something new”. I’ve strongly believe in the open source. Me and few other Paralect founders build open source tool for mongodb management robomongo (http://robomongo.org/). It is widely used around the globe and has between 500 and 3000 download per day. I am StackOverflow'er (http://stackoverflow.com/users/508601/andrew-orsich). I am very proactive and enjoy impact to the future of the project I am working on. I am always analyze a market and trying to come up with better, or improved ideas. My previous customers liked that about me a lot. This passion combined with my intention to learn and apply new technologies helped me to create and run two startups: Theranest and Hummingbird (see more details below) over the last year. Theranest now successful startup which is constrantly growing. Hummingbird just opened for a beta clients. Performance, scalability and big data was most interesting to me over the whole my career. During this year I want to apply my teoretical knowledge of Twitter architecture (batch, serving, real time layers) and make deeper step into Big Data world. I want to try Twitter Storm and Hadoop on a real project. I am comfortable being uncomfortable. Current technology stack is: Server side: ASP.NET MVC 3-4, C#, Signalr, MongoDB, SQL Server, Lucene for full text search, Quartz.net for scheduled tasks, Dependency Injection, NLog. Node.js, express, socket.io, mongodb, etc. Testing: Unit Testing, UI testing with Selenium Client side: BackboneJS / KnockoutJS / AngularJS, RequireJS, Twitter-Bootstrap, jQuery, Mustache, Underscore, etc. Certified mongodb DBA - https://s3.amazonaws.com/edu-cert.10gen.com/downloads/0a986eb852da42d0967db95e132bc44a/Certificate.pdf

I am a challenge seeker, I just like hard duties that puts me under mental and physical pressure, Since being a student at faculty of engineering till now i am trying to beat life challenges, I gave a lot of technical and educational sessions by age of 20 and started my career by then as an embedded SW engineer at a multinational company and then by the age of 21 as a research and development engineer to invent a new RFID positioning technique that was nearly going to be published as a patent but time didn't allow this to happen and then began my .Net software carrier till now to develop various stand alone and an integrated software modules for large and small size companies, Just check my complete LinkedIn profile to see that i don't let anything to the chance, I just plan and conquer. I am also a Microsoft certified professional, specialist and solutions developer who built up a huge number of complete, integrated apps using C#, WPF, Silverlight, WCF, Web services and a lot more techs. I am looking forward to be hired by a client who have a great challenge for me that i can apply my experience in.
