Hi! I am a 25 years old photographer and editor from Bucharest. I can retouch, manipulate and restore photos, I can process raw files, batch edit, remove backgrounds professionally, I can make various designs, such as posters, brochures, flyers, etc. Here are some of the clients that I currently work with via oDesk: -Restoring old photographs for www.vividrecollection.com -Editing weddings (RAW images processing and retouch) for www.amyannphoto.com -Retouching fashion and beauty images for www.khairmax.com -Photographing and retouching products (work in progress) for www.monellina.it Every image that I edit gets the same treatment as my own images: care, respect and attention. Being a photographer also (since 2009),I will get the best out of your photos. I can also follow exact instructions whenever the case. My gears are a MacBook Pro, Wacom Intuos graphic tablet and a Nikon D7100. I use Photoshop CS6. Lightroom 5 too, but not as much as Photoshop. I am eager for new challenges and I am also a fast learner. The contractors from oDesk certainly offered me some big challenges which I successfully overcame. I like to keep a close contact with the contractors. Immersing myself in the project and having a strong understanding of it, helps the quality of the result. A mention that I have to make about my work flow is that I always review my work. If it happens that I send the work before getting to review it due to the deadline and if I happen to find things to adjust, I will send again the corrected images after discussing the matter with the client. There may not be corrections that the clients need, but correction that mark my work as an editor, and of course, corrections that raise the quality of the image. I'm saying all this because I strongly believe in an honest relation with the client and in delivering irreproachable services. I recently started with professional product photography and I provided an example in my oDesk portfolio. I participated in 3 small photography exhibitions, and another one is expected within this year (2013). I taught photojournalism for high-school students within a special program initiated by Active Watch (the media monitoring agency in Romania). I got some pictures published in the "Jurnalul National" and "Cotidianul" newspapers and others smaller publications. I also created posters for few events. As a previous job, before becoming a freelancer, I worked at a well known luxury fashion store (www.fashionvictim.ro) where I retouched the photos, wrote small fashion articles, advertised their products (image collages and such) and managed their Facebook page. I studied cinematography in college (at the National University of Drama and Film from Bucharest), which helped me develop a keen eye for details, but it did not shift my interest towards motion pictures. Photography and editing images are the most important to me, from all the passions that I have. I am also an entertainer, and I hope I'm not known just because I am a girl (and not a boy) who makes jokes :)) (www.facebook.com/EAPunsPics) Here are some links to my photography portfolios: http://www.behance.net/Auguria http://yourshot.nationalgeographic.com/profile/432153/ https://www.facebook.com/AuguriaPhotography http://500px.com/ElenaAuguria Thank you for your time!

Over 7 years of professional experience in photography and retouching images. I would like to state that I acquired my skills solely through real long-term real-world practice and not through a couple of online tutorials. For that reason I am very confident in my work and the versatility of my skills, and am able to provide a truly premium service. I offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee to all top -rated clients, including unlimited revisions - I won't rest until you are completely satisfied. As for the technical expertise, I am an exclusive photographer at iStockphoto and am used to rigorous technical standards, some of the highest in the photography world - and have honed my skills over time accordingly. Through my stock portfolio my work has also proven itself in the real world with thousands of publication and other uses (print, blogs, websites, and other commercial use). Due to the flexibility of my stock photographer job, I can rearrange my schedule to suit your needs and am available practically 24/7 when needed. I'm easy to work with, easy to communicate with and will always produce high quality work at a fair price. I will not tell you I can do something, if it can't be done. I won't mess around with your deadline. I want you to be able to do your job, and trust that I'll do mine as proposed. In return, I'm hoping to build long lasting professional relationships with clients that care enough about their business and understand the need for high quality work, and are willing to pay a fair price. Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards, Boris Lazic
'If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur.' - Red Adair I am expirienced high- end photo retoucher, one of the best here in oDesk. I have worked for major Bulgarian companies. I am offering only the very best retouching service and quality. Although a lot of contractors would be tempted to hire cheaper freelancer to do the job, there are some major differences which I would like to point out - First, and foremost, when you are trying to promote your brand, the first thing your clients are going to see are your photos. Think of online stores (clothes, products, technology), billboards (again..), magazines, flyers, brochures, look-books, etc, etc. The first thing that catches your client's eyes is the photo. The photo is the representation of your product and brand. The client doesnt usually see the effort put into making the product, or the time spent on it, or how much technical skill is put into it. He sees only an image of a final product- which is just like all other products he sees daily. If the photo is cheaply done (for example: plastic face, colors which are ok, but not enhanced to "catch the eye", misused techniques, etc) it will represent your brand as cheap. Here is a fast example with a swimwear. Both photos are retouched. The first one is retouch with porcelain skin effect, badly retouched, bad shadows and highlight and bad photo manipulation - you can very clearly see the girl is fakely put into the background. This is cheap work, and make your brand looks cheap. This is what you are usually getting for cheap retouch. Second is professional retouch. 1) http://oi61.tinypic.com/10x5vlz.jpg (bad retouch) 2) http://oi62.tinypic.com/1197yo4.jpg These extra few dollars spent into retouching to hire a professional, will actually bring you a lot more money. Retouching is investment in your brand and your product. -I am familiar with human anatomy, which is essential in retouching. There are incredible amount of retouchers, who doesnt give attention to that, which results in "photoshop fails", even for big companies like Target and Victoria secret. Do you think your average 5$/h knows anatomy? - I am good in color correction. I know how to change and alter colors , so your photo catches the eye. Speaking of colors, here are some examples. - I am speaking English. You would be surprised how many people here have their profiles and cover letters written for them. It looks alright, until you hire the person and start talking with him about the project- then it turns out, he doesnt quiet do what you want, because he can't really understand you. - I am creative, and I can give that extra- something your photo needs to reach the next level. - I am hardworking, reliable, and I always keep deadlines.
I currently work as a web designer for the one of the largest pro audio retailers in the country. I'm proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery with a significant amount of experience with PHP and Bootstrap. I focus a lot on User Interface (UI) design and optimizing the User Experience (UX). I work quickly and design/develop to the highest standards. I'm really easygoing and fun to work with and I'm not afraid to buckle down and things done. On top of all the web stuff I also do logo and branding design, t-shirt designs, photo editing and manipulation, and a bunch of other random design work. I'm not afraid to take on new things and I'm always willing to learn. I am also a big believer in "You get what you put into it" because this applies to all aspects of life. With freelance work if someone is asking $5/hour chances are you're going to get website that looks like you paid $5/hour. If I ask for $50/hour I am going to put in at least $100/hour worth of work and provide a result that more often than not reflects work worth more than $50/hour. I do not by any means try to take advantage of anybody. A big reason I do freelance work is because, well, I enjoy doing it. But at the same time, one's most valuable asset is their time, and I still need to be compensated for mine. Bottom line is — I will charge, after much consideration, what I feel would be a very fair price for both the client and myself.
