Skills/Strengths: Interpretative Reading, Audiovisual Presentations, Public Speaking My most recent experience in oral communication involved teaching Speech at Living Stone International School (see livingstone.edu.ph) from August 2013 to March 2014. As a Speech teacher, I encouraged each student to find and express his or her own voice. I had one cardinal rule: no boring, monotonous speeches allowed. At present I am the adviser for the school's English language arts club, World of Wordcraft, which I founded in June 2014 to enhance the students' verbal and written language skills. My voice is as naturally expressive as my face and body. I always deliver a presentation with great feeling and conviction, whether the occasion calls for lightheartedness (such as hosting a dinner for a cause or introducing a guest speaker) or solemnity (such as reading Bible verses during a church service or persuading parents to support a parents' association project). Vocal talent jobs differ from public speaking roles in that they require the type of acting used in interpretative reading. This means understanding and internalizing a role, usually written in someone else's words, so that delivery sounds natural, effortless, appropriate and convincing. Since hearing my actual delivery is what really counts in deciding how my services can help your business, within the next few days I will be uploading voice and video recordings tailored to a sample variety of speaking roles. Audio books, voice-over trailers, advertisements and work presentations will be priority projects. However, I can also take on phone tree assignments and other light jobs.
