During the last 3 years, I've created, written and edited a wide range of articles and content for websites/blogs. My core competency lies mainly in technology, herbal medicine, fitness and creative writing, and I am seeking opportunities to write in these various fields and create scripts in Python and websites in HTML/CSS. I also have two years of experience in the following areas: HMTL, PHP, CSS, Python, Objective c and Processing I'm also experienced in SEO and article spinning, I always keep to my deadlines and usually always put my best pen forward, so to speak.
I have been working as a programmer for over 8 years (php) and I have put a lot of thought and effort into learning to use the best tools and processes that can help you to efficiently develop good, working and maintainable software. I maintain a blog at http://imakesnowflakes.com and I have side projects at github and bitbucket (https://bitbucket.org/sras). You can see some of my code samples there. If it matter to you, these are some of the tools I use regularly. VirtualBox with Vagrant for creating development environments, Mercurial + kdiff3 for version control and merge conflict resolution, PHPUnit for unit testing, Selenium and phantom.js for functional testing. phpmd and phpcs for code quality analysis.
I am a university student, looking for work experience in the application and web development field. I have experience with Java programming, specifically time optimization of large data processing algorithms. I've also worked with HTML5, CSS3, jQuery to build a business website from scratch. I've worked on smaller assignments with PHP and Python before. I'll be willing to complete smaller trial tasks, as well as I will revise my work until the result you wish for is achieved. I always organize my work and maintain a regular schedule, ensuring all the required work done and more. I've always been passionate about programming and I am willing to devote my time and abilities to achieve and keep a high standard. I'm interested in any project I find and therefore I always thrive to improve my work and find better, more time- and resource-efficient solutions to the problem at hand!

I am an expert developer currently studying for my Ph.D. at Indiana University in Bloomington. Prior to my academic pursuits, I was a freelance programmer for 6 years. My current academic experience focuses on programming languages, artificial intelligence, and parallelism/concurrency. My work experience centers on problems that need expert attention from knowledgeable, competent programmers, rather than large amounts of mediocre programmers. I focus on small, targeted projects where I can deliver more value and quality. My previous contracts provided solutions to problems and domains that simply couldn't be done efficiently or easily be the average development team.
