    Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec I spent most of my Professional career in law enforcement, security and education translating official documents and acting as an interpreter during National and International meetings, functions and conventions. French is my native and primary language. I have vast experience working for several major American organizations as a liaison, mainly aiding senior personnel to overcome the language and cultural barriers between the United States and Canada. After I became an American Citizen, I worked overseas in several French speaking countries writing translations for the United States Officials and local authorities. I also worked occasionally as an interpreter during official functions. My strength, and what I prefer, is to translate from English to French and my experience in very high profile environments helps me to cope with the pressure of interpretation. My native language is Canadian French with its multiple regional variations. For example; the French Spoken in Quebec City and Montreal is slightly different despite their proximity, so one can only imagine how different the French spoken in the Maritimes could be. I am also fluent in the European Standard International French as well as in the African French and I can adapt my verbal and written delivery accordingly.
