My strengths are reconciliations and financial statement preparation, or any type of project to use Excel to automate processes. I have worked in just about every aspect of accounting, as other areas of business. I have a knack of finding errors if they exist, and explaining variances, and in many cases finding causes that can save companies money. The past year, I have been working for an accounting firm in Brazil - learning Portuguese as well. Accounting standards here are different, and I would like to continue to work in US accounting as well. I last worked on 2013 because my employer passed away unfortunately. When my regular job became toxic or busy, i stopped oDesk job since I don't want to apply then give a so-so result to my clients. Now that I am back, I am devoting full time to oDesk to give my would be clients: -Commitment and concern, dependability and loyalty -Hard work and ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision -15 years of solid work experience -Resourcefulness, honesty and reliability I may not have oDesk hours to speak of, but I hope clients will give me a chance to showcase what I'm capable of delivering.
