    Johnson Controls - Working within the client environment at the Global Headquarters of Barclays in Canary Wharf, whilst presenting a Consultancy presence on site, I have contributed to background collection of the immediate Corporate Real Estate Services strategic information for the division of Barclays Corporate Bank from Barclays Retail Bank environment.. Reports developed and configured with advanced uses of both Excel and Access, manipulation and linking of multiple data sources and combination of reporting lines are part of my day to day duties. · Negotiation with client ‘Lines of Business’ to develop viable Space Stacking & Option analysis to maximise space allocations and minimise real estate costs. · Occupancy reporting and Space Management for the Barclays Bank Corporate Estate, totalling 18 million square feet, using Archibus delivered from within a Citrix central server application. Working alongside key client and senior JCi staff to deliver the project. Monthly and ad-hoc reporting to the high standard required by the client, detailing occupancy and flexible working environments. Currently I am responsible for the project management to include all Corporate and Retail properties outside the existing database, some 2000 extra sites throughout the United Kingdom and Indian Call Centres. · Management of a team of five staff delivering Occupancy, Desk Booking and Space Planning for the UK Corporate estate, with close working relationships to the Move & Change team for both the UK Retail Banks and Commercial, Capital and Wealth groups. · Development of working processes, fully integrating into the Move Management process to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, and add value to the wider contract. Identify and evaluate possible areas of opportunity for cross selling of services to reinforce client contractor relationships. The BGM Group - Responsible for managing Space Planning and Design activity across all contracts for major blue chip accounts such as Barclays Capital, UBS & Land Securities. In the last twelve months, help to tender and secure both the UBS (Work Space Planning Team x3 Staff) and the addition of the Space Planning contract within overall Barclays account. Hold internal workshops for the client and site staff to identify key areas for development to demonstrate efficiency savings and improve service delivery and cost benefits to the client. · Managing workloads for staff (currently 10 members based on client site and one in the main head office), arranging meetings with clients and undertaking consultancy works as required to support and develop the profile of the company. Recently worked on a feasibility study for Land Securities to consolidate their London portfolio of Real Estate following the recent demerger. This consisted of the production of high level Headcount information and Spatial Study to determine Workplace Densities, combined with Business Unit & Departmental adjacency stacking; the feasibility study was presented to the client and accepted as proof of concept prior to submitting to Board. · Develop key client relationships and maintain existing professional networks to benefit the client, staff and the company. At Barclays, following an Internal Workshop, it was identified that there was scope to expand on existing client relationships to better understand the wider business requirements. It has been demonstrated that the existing business model could be applied to the wider Barclays Group, reducing duplication of resource and delivery of a single standardised product. Advise clients’ on system & product evolution of new technologies, to streamline and add value to key contracts through introduction and management of suppliers. DEGW - Working within DEGW’s Corporate Clients portfolio and Building Appraisal Team. Clients have include GSK, CSOB Bank (Prague), and Allied Bank of Ireland (Dublin), Standard Life (Edinburgh), Northern Ireland Civil Service (Belfast), Roche (Basle) and AstraZeneca (Cheshire). · My job roles since the move have been varied, and include; Building Appraisals, Time Utilization and Workplace Performance Studies, production of presentational material & reports, Space Planning, Strategic Planning & Measurement and support within the Corporate and Government consultancy groups with CAD related issues. Currently working on a permanent secondment to the British Museum in a Strategic Consultancy role. Focusing on the creation of the Master Planning phase of a £450million development for the museum, including Back of House phasing & moves, Workplace Strategies, Adjacencies and Architectural Briefing. The role requires liaison with internal clients and key external consultants to plan and deliver a working project, assisting with the project appraisal of a 3d Model and associated database. ttsp - Working on site with the London Borough of Lambeth, within a team of three. co-ordinating the Accommodation Strategy for the disposal of old building stock, and the acquisition on more modern office accommodation. During this process I have been responsible for setting up the teams Drawing Office Procedures, Business as Usual Procedures and running small to medium projects – Demolition / Construction, Furniture Procurement and Collation of Staff Relocation Information. An integral aspect of the departments planning is a Project Review Database that I have designed and administer. The database’s role is to track the status of any given project, action points for progressing projects and installation dates, enabling the team to effectively manage all installations. · The Borough’s space extends to 550,000 sq.ft, and all drawing information has had to be validated. I have co- ordinated the team based on site to undertake surveys of all buildings, and compile a full inventory of staff based in the core 19 buildings. This information has been passed to the client and will be used to establish future strategies. T-Mobile - Working on site with T-Mobile & Deutsche Telecom on the Strategic Planning for the company’s entire move to a new, purpose built Headquarters’ site in Hatfield. The Hatfield site totals ½ million square feet of office space across six buildings, providing accommodation for the 3,500 occupants, which we occupied over two years. The site includes two restaurants, two Starbuck’s Coffee bars and a T-Mobile Retail Store. I have been responsible for all early blocking and stacking drawings for the site, initial and detailed space planning, liaison with the job Architect as the client representative and responsible for receiving and coordination of the drawing packages from the Contractor. Alongside this, I was able to support the other members of the onsite team with CAD assistance and guidance, standardising drawings and the production of those drawings – title sheets, layering and block databases. · I have also been responsible for the Business As Usual Space Planning – regional and headquarters projects ranging from single to several hundred people moves, and have produced a database from which I am able to track the progress of each job. Other duties have included the provision of regular Strategic Information for the Facilities Team relating to space and occupancy, maintenance of the Corporate Directory for all Names & Positions within the Corporate Estate based in Hatfield, the production of the Workstation vs. Vacant Desk database reports, updating the Drawing database post move, liasing directly with the internal client and taking Client Briefs, maintenance of the CAD office drawing standards and any and all pre move information. Lehman Brothers - Managing the European Portfolio of Space based from the UK with a team of four Space Planners, providing Executive Summaries of Space Allocation taken from within a Bespoke Application based within AutoCAD with Management of the CAD Database, production of a full Drawing Office CAD standards integrated within AutoCAD via AutoCAD & Windows Help files, supply of relevant training and installation & audit of AutoCAD and licences. In addition, my brief included the evaluation of all current CIFM applications available with a view to replace the pre- existing system and streamline the effectiveness of the department with a TFM Solution to encompass; PPM, Space, Property & Estates, Helpdesk, Furniture Assets, Cable Management, Project and Budget Management. KPMG - Managing the Partnership’s 2.15 million sq. ft. National Portfolio and a team of three Space Planners, attributing to management reports and providing strategic information to the national leadership team. I undertook the resurvey of existing office space, to integrate within a CAFM database to manage space efficiently. Management of the CAD Database, standardisation of CAD standards and production of written Drawing Office Procedures, supply of relevant training and installation & audit of AutoCAD and licences.  less
