My name is Sevi and I am from Izmir, Turkey. I am graduated from American Collegiate Institute in Izmir. Succesively, I studied Guidance and Psychological Counseling in Bogazici University, Istanbul. Therefore, I got my BA degree in 2007. Same year I started to work as a Corporate Communication Specialist in retail industry in Istanbul. I worked in this position from 2007 to 2010. My main responsibilities were conducting periodical quantitative and qualitative research projects which act as inputs for further strategical decisions (i.e: Customer Satisfaction Survey Project, Customer Retention Survey Project); content and visual management of the company website; communicating with customers, solving customer problems, ensuring customer satisfaction; call center and call system management; press relations management (preparation and arrangement of press releases, newspaper news and articles); daily news follow-up; organization of press conferences; management and preparation of events, meetings and organizations; assessment of the Corporate Social Responsibility projects and sponsorship applications, designing and effectuating CSR projects.
In July 2010, I had a transfer to Human Resources department as a Training Specialist. In this position I was responsible of preparing monthly and yearly training reports; planning and delivering orientation trainings to white collar employees and interns; recruitment of university and high school interns; preparing orientation programs for the white collar employees; preparing documents, presentations, booklets and e-learning presentations; planning and organization of foreign language training programs, especially English; managing and preparing events, organizations and launches related with the human resources department. The company had around 20,000 employees and it was an honor to work for such a big and leader company.
In 2012, I got an offer from a global hotel chain for the Training Manager position. My responsibilities as a Training Manager are planning and delivering all kinds of training activities to the entire hotel staff, forecasting and following up the annual training budget; supporting the HR activities in general (recruitment, staff magazine, bulletin boards, etc.).
I am graduated from Executive MBA (Master of Business Administration) programme in Istanbul Technical University in June 2014 . This was a two years master program and I am graduated with 3,61 GPA.
