''Dont regret anything you do, because in the end, it makes you who you are'' is what I often tell myself. I never give up and I always keep trying, and that has made me the person I am today
''Dont regret anything you do, because in the end, it makes you who you are'' is what I often tell myself. I never give up and I always keep trying, and that has made me the person I am today.
I was born on December 16th, 1968, in the southern part of the Netherlands. I was a very intelligent little boy who was very interested in the Dutch language. Not only the Dutch language, but also the English language. From the age of 4, I told my parents that I had a dream of becoming an Englishman someday. My parents started teaching me some basic English, with words and sentences such as yes, no, hello, goodbye, how are you, all basic stuff basically. With the help of some good old English magazines, I managed to pick up the English language quite well, and I got better and better at writing it, as well as speaking it.
In primary and secondary school, I studied the English language even better. At the end of my middle school career, I passed my Anglia exams on the highest possible level (Masters), which allowed me to study at any English university. I never decided to do so, and eventually I graduated from Utrecht University in the Netherlands.
As of today, I can safely say that I have enough experience to be able to speak the English language fluently, with perfect grammar, spelling and what not.
So what do I do? It's simple: I can translate literally anything. Just anything. As long as it's from English to Dutch or vice versa, I'll be able to do it. As a 45 year old man, with about 40 years of experience in the English language, I can assure you that I will deliver the highest quality work within the shortest amount of time. A maximum amount of concentration and dedication will be put towards the assigned projects, which will result in a translation that will leave you flabbergasted.
If I had to describe myself in 3 words, I would say friendly, professional and detail oriented. I always stay friendly towards my clients, as long as they treat me with the same amount of respect. This will not only improve my reputation, but also the reputation of the client. It's basically a win-win situation for both parties. Professionalism is also very important when being a freelancer. You have to show others that you know what you are doing. They must be able to rely on you, knowing that you will deliver quality work. Last but not least, I would describe myself as detail oriented. I'm a perfectionist and I am not satisfied with my own work when it's full of mistakes. One mistake is one too many. Just make sure it's perfect. Trust me, it gives you the best feeling you could ever imagine.
I look forward to any further cooperation with clients. If you need my assistance, I'd be more than honoured to help. Have a great day!
