I am a full-time Assistant Manager of a retail store looking to get my foot in the door in word processing and transcription. I will transcribe Monday through Thursday, whenever I am not working my regular job (usually 8 hour days). I mainly love transcribing interviews because I love to learn, and I get to learn about what they are discussing while I'm transcribing it and getting paid to do it. It's a win, win for me! I've found I don't particularly enjoy transcribing large meetings or unclear audio files because I do not have any additional tools to assist me, but I am open to trying anything. I also am available to convert PDF or other file types into word files. In the past few weeks since starting, I have done a few transcriptions of interviews and have gotten great feedback on each of them. I am very professional and hold myself to extremely high standards when it comes to the quality of my work and turning it in when it is expected and in the way that it is expected.
