My short stories have been short listed in The Sid Chaplin competition, The Pages competition, The Mike Hayward competition, The Ted Walters competition, The Glass Woman Prize and The Binnacle Ultra Short at The University of Maine at Machias. I won first prize in The H E Bates competition and The Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre Prize. My first single story chapbook will be published by Folded Word this year and I am currently working on an original play with a theatre director.  less

For few years I've worked with Automotive magazines in field of designing new car model look, for example; Mazda is introducing new model 6 and my job was to create a design of how car might look... Although I know that VB6 is an obsolete programming language, my honed logical and analytical thinking is my advantage. I am adept in Wordpress Blog/Site administration and have an intermediate knowledge on HTML and CSS, and slightly familiar with PHP. I can install and configure complex plugins, tweak the theme's layout and design and do various edits to customize a Wordpress website. I also know my way through most webhosts' Cpanel. I am familiar with various social networking platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google +, Pinterest, LinkedIn and can setup, customize and integrate them together for social media marketing. I have used email marketing platforms such as Aweber and MailChimp extensively and can setup and integrate sign-up forms in websites and social media profiles, can customize and setup email newsletters and autoresponders. I can also work with other Web 2.0 content platforms like Blogger/Blogspot, Tumblr, Squidoo, Hubpages, Joomla, etc. I know how to use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for creating and editing graphic elements.
