I am looking for a skilled Javascript / NextJS developer who is comfortable with both session management and git to add email functionality and a login package to my web based application. The website sits on an Ubuntu server, running Nginx and Postgres. My database schema to support the login process has already been implemented. Front end to back end database connectivity has been established. You will need to perform the following: Add outbound email functionality to the server. This can be done with any 3rd party service you feel is appropriate, as long as it starts out free and has reasonable cost as usage increases. Implementing a completely free solution would be a plus. Create a "new user" feature which collects various information from the user, saves received details to the database, and emails a confirmation key. Create a "confirm email" feature which listens for inbound requests containing the confirmation key and subsequently updates the database. Create a "login" feature which validates username/password against the database, establishes a session, and creates a database record tracking the user's login action. Create a "logout" feature which clears some of the session data established during login. Create a "session check" function which redirects the user to the login screen if session has not been established. This function can be included on pages as required. Create a "session dump" feature which outputs all existing session variables and their values associated to the current user Any pre packaged login solution may be used, but will need to be customized to interact with the designed table structure. Async interactions to the database should be used where possible. The login process will utilize a salt/hashing feature.
